Better rollers.

Home made!! anyone have a resistance unit they are not using? WOuld be fun to do if youve got some cheap rollers. I dont think I want to hack on my Kreitlers just yet.I also just read on WW a guy who bought the Inside Ride rollers and after 26 years he was finally able to stand up on rollers. I did it in a week or two...hahaha!!

I have a similar setup w/o a resistance unit for my Kreitler Dyno-Myte 2.25" rollers. I basically created a sort of carriage unit that the 8 rubber feet set in. This required no modifications to the roller unit itself.

Ahhh, I totally see what your saying....

I would love to have a fluid resistance on mine instead of Killer headwind, Mag or fans, but as my buddy says, get up to 50 mph on rollers and you'll feel the burn.

Another buddy said he was hitting 700 watts doing stomps on his stock E-Motion rollers though!!

The 2.25" drums are 400 watts at 30mph. (http://www.kreitler.com/wattage_chart.pdf)

I'm thinking about getting the flywheel addon.

I borrowed some 2.25 rollers last winter. I could barely ride them so I barely rode them.... I'd fall off of them trying to wipe my face or drink from a bottle. The 3" ones are a breeze. I DL the wattage chart for mine. If you can stay on them the 2.25" rollers are a killer workout for sure.
